MSc course in Medical Image Computing

In 2007, the UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing (CMIC) launched a new MSc in Medical Image Computing. The course aims to provide students with specialist skills in core topics in the field of medical image  computing, allowing them to pursue a career in research, commercial companies specialising in medical imaging and medical devices, or healthcare organisations where medical imaging and computerised technologies are now an essential part of the diagnosis and clinical management of diseases.

The course is now run as part of the Physics and Engineering in Medicine (PEM) MSc programme, administered by the UCL Department of Medical Physics. The course draws on expertise within CMIC and the Departments of Medical Physics, Computer Science, and Anatomy within UCL, as well as experts from industry and other universities, to provide a rigorous background in medical imaging and computing with an emphasis on state-of-the-art medical image analysis techniques.

Further information on the course and programme structure can be found here.
